Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
A Private Pilot Licence (PPL) enables you to operate as a Pilot-In-Command (PIC) or co-pilot of a Malaysian-registered aircraft,
primarily for leisure flying and other non-commercial purposes, for the aircraft class or types specified in your licence.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum age 17 years old
- Achieve at least Level 4 in the Aviation English Language Test
- Completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or “O” level equivalent for candidates outside Malaysia
- Pass a Class II medical examination with a requisite certificate from a CAAM Designated Medical Examiner
The complete ground training is delivered over 100 hours within a 4-week period.
During the flying phase, students will train with a minimum of 40 hours of total flight training, including the PPL flight test.
